Under the weather

So, I was sick yesterday, and I swear, I slept the entire day. I really needed it, and today I feel fantastic. So fantastic, I took the dog, Abby, on our usual walk, and actually RAN part of  it. So weird.

But the weather is gorgeous, and Shawn (Husband) and I spent some time puttering around the back yard and just soaking it up. The leaves are changing, and the light is so beautiful and gold. I happened to see a giant peace rose, probably one of the last of the season, so here it is:
