An Update

Since the first post, five years ago, I finished the Masters program and have started a PhD. I'm about half way through, so I thought I'd blow the dust off this blog (that I started as part of my Masters) and brush up on my writing skills. So here we go (and I promise this one isn't Ambien-fueled... a story for another time).
